Event in partnership with the US & Foreign Commercial Service and and the US Embassy- San Jose, Costa Rica.
USAHA was pleased to facilitate a dialogue between Chief Engineer Jorge Granados of CAJA (the Costa Rican Social Security Agency – part of the Ministry of Health of Costa Rica) and USAHA constituents, healthcare infrastructure-focused organizations and individuals.
Costa Rica places a particular emphasis on healthcare. The country hosts 9 out of the 15 largest medical device companies in the world. Its largest export is medical devices.
CAJA is the only provider of public healthcare in Costa Rica. Presently, CAJA is investing heavily in healthcare infrastructure. The agency has 11 major projects in its portfolio, each worth between tens of millions and hundreds of millions of USD.
This event provided USAHA constituents and partners an opportunity for Chief Engineer Granados to share CAJA’s procurement timelines and expectations, and to interface directly with U.S companies and organizations.
